We took quite a while before finding the camping who will host us for our next summer vacation in family. We really wanted to discover Vendée, but with more than 300 campsites on the Atlantic coast, it is not easy to make a choice. The competition is tough and there are some very nice establishments. What made us book at California is first and foremost its location and its particularly wooded park. The mobile homes are set in greenery, allowing for some shady spots.
Le California has managed to perfectly combine an ideal location (close to the center of Saint Jean de Monts) while remaining peaceful. We will not be right in the heart of town and will therefore be spared the noise of tourists and engines. In the early morning, we will be able to enjoy the birdsong, nothing could be more pleasant. The campsite is fully equipped so that we lack nothing during our vacation. Thus, we will be able to enjoy fresh pastries and bread every day just a few steps from our rental.
The rentals offered by this campsite are modern and of high quality. We will lack nothing and will be able to come with just the bare minimum. Most of the rentals are equipped with a terrace. When making our reservation, we paid close attention to make sure our rental had one. We love gathering around the patio furniture to eat all together and enjoy the fine weather.
