Last year we had booked a cheap stay in Saint Jean de Monts in a 4-star campsite. We had never spent a holiday in the Vendée before. We didn't know at all what to expect, even though we had already seen numerous reports about the Vendée, which is actually what made us want to visit the department.
Upon our arrival at the campsite, we were very well received; the staff is very welcoming. Our mobile home was clean and of high quality. We were pleasantly surprised because it was an almost new mobile home, which had all the necessary equipment for us to have a great vacation. Within the campsite, everything was perfect. Whenever we had the slightest problem or the smallest question, the campsite teams were always very responsive.
We enjoyed our budget stay to visit the Vendée and do activities that we wouldn't have done if the stay hadn't been at this price. We went to several amusement parks such as Explora Parc, Atlantic Toboggan and of course the Puy du Fou, the must-visit park in the Vendée. We really had an extraordinary stay. If you want to spend a vacation with your little family, I really recommend this destination. Saint Jean de Monts is an ideal resort for children, but also for adults.
