Plunged into the heart of winter, we are counting down the days until the holidays. We miss the sun, just as much as the summer temperatures. While we are as close as possible to the fireplace, we are dreaming instead of walks along the Ocean and in the forest. But we were incredibly lucky this year! Santa Claus left in our stockings a getaway for a long weekend in Camping Le California en Vendée. Thanks to him, we are going to spend three days in this campsite with indoor pool.

We know the schedule will be intense because we are only going for a short time. First, we are going to see the ocean. Breathing in the sea spray and the salty air is such a change of scenery. And walking along the esplanade of Saint-Jean-de-Monts is so pleasant. Second, we will go for a little walk in the forest. The children also enjoy the quiet paths. You can walk or bike there, all while breathing in that very distinctive scent of the pines. Furthermore, we can also head toward the marshes; there, too, it is very attractive.
After these excursions into the heart of nature, we will be happy to return to camping. We will happily dive into the indoor swimming pool of this 4-star establishment. Relaxation will be guaranteed, we are sure of it. Choosing this campsite is also a guarantee of security. Because even if the Vendée enjoys an exceptional climate, it is not impossible that in spring the sun shares the spotlight with a few clouds. The water park with this indoor and heated pool ensures us an activity open at any time.
In conclusion, we are really looking forward to coming to Vendée ! The camping California and its indoor swimming pool will do us a world of good. And it is even likely that if we like the surroundings, we will decide to book a new, longer stay to enjoy the summer.
